After carefully picking out the right photos, here are the less incriminating ones left for your viewing pleasure.

The sky spoiled already. That was vic's explanation for the screwed up weather that can't seem to stop pouring. Which I highly suspect, is the cause of my flu and the source of my awful misery. But the rain aint gonna spoil my parade (and my mood!) so we all headed out to dbl o and zouk last night for dance drinks and the usual silliness. What till you see the photos. Everyone always looks silly in clubbing photos and if you look normal, you're not having enough fun yet.So blah blah, the whole galaxy seemed to have descended upon zouk last night. It was packed to the max like I've never seen before. Full house till they let us in at 2am. Okay, we were greedy cos we went over to dbl o for free drinks and hence reached zouk only at 12ish am. So, mambo + crowded = should've stayed at dbl o. That way, we would have free drinks all night, not having to brave the rain and squeezing with a million other people in zouk.Music at phuture was fantabulous though. Like song after song after song of great RnB tracks. I could've danced all night (now is that a title of some song? anyway). But same theory applies. Phuture + crowded + steppin on everybirdie's toes = should've stayed at dbl o.Citibank cards get you in free only before midnight. How come I only knew bout the first half and not the "before midnight" part. Bah. And we couldn't meet junhan cos he was lost within the galaxy. Double bah.But the crazy us made last night fun anyway, can't wait for vic to upload the photos so I can share the fun with yall. And after twenty odd sneezes or so, I'm almost late for brunch with my cities group mates, or rather more appropriately, my new found friends. They've made the project a blast and now we can leave that behind and hang out like we've always wanted to.I think I'm still mildly high. Look at what I've written!

So it was Christmas eve eve eve. Finally got to meet up with miss moon after we came back from the Phi Phi Islands. And when you add steph and biwen to the picture, you get a crazy bunch. And we had a ball of a time taking photos ya da ya da ya da ended off at starbucks for a good chat till they almost closed. You know Singapore is boring when Orchard Road is insanely crowded - because that is all we have to offer. I've been weaving the wildest dream of carving out another street or boulevard, either running parallel or beyond Orchard Road to house proper shopping. Proper meaning wide tree-lined pedestrian streets and shops that are not concealed in malls. No malls allowed. Every shop will have their own building, designed and tailor made to suit their needs. A street of impressive flagships. That's what Singapore needs. Orchard Road is simply a messy amalgamation of retail madness.I rest my case.

Bah. I miss my grandma.
And especially so cos its Christmas. Although this is probably the bestest Christmas to date, part of me cannot allow it to be so because she is not around to share the joy with me and my family. But then again, this is what she would have wanted anyway - for she takes pleasure in knowing that we are enjoying, even if she is not part of it. Which is why she is so selfless, so special.
I know I'm not alone in this, everyone in the family still misses her a lot. And a tear never fails to form in our eyes every Sunday when we gather around her grave at sunset (which is looking really quaint and all done up already).
Cherish everything you have. Appreciate the little things you take for granted. Enjoy nature. These are things my grandma has taught me and I thought it'll be good for you guys to know it too.
It’s not that unusual
When everything is beautiful
It’s just another ordinary miracle today
The sky knows when its time to snow
Don’t need to teach a seed to grow
It’s just another ordinary miracle today
Life is like a gift they say
Wrapped up for you everyday
Open up and find a way
To give some of your own
Isn’t it remarkable
Like every time a rain drop falls
It’s just another ordinary miracle today
Birds and winter have their fling
But always make it home by spring
It’s just another ordinary miracle today
When you wake up everyday
Please don’t throw your dreams away
Hold them close to your heart
Cause we’re all a part of the ordinary miracle
It seems so exceptional
That things just work out after all
It’s just another ordinary miracle today
Sun comes up and shines so bright
And disappears again at night
It’s just another ordinary miracle today
It’s just another ordinary miracle today

These are but a small fraction of the 600 photos I have from this vacation to San Francisco and Lake Tahoe. But I do not think I would want to make another collage, I'll prolly lug my laptop out the next time I'm out with you guys and make all of you sit through SF1101.
The trip had been entirely good and thoroughly enjoyable, though it was really too short to take in all that was to be offered and to do menial but very gratifying stuff like serious shopping.
Now that I am back, well, I can at least look back at this trip with really fond memories of great times with my family and awesome sights I've never seen before. I used to be really sentimental about vacations overseas cos perhaps I didn't like coming home and wished I had been on that vacation forever. But now, things seem different altogether, I feel that I am in a better position to appreciate the trip for what it is, then put it aside when its done and look forward to the future. And I'm damn thrilled about what is placed before me.
One, jess is coming home! She's finally graduated and back to the arms of everyone who loves her (that includes me of course).
Two, I love the season and can't wait to spend it with my family and close friends. Though I am totally appalled by how fast my schedule is filling up for the next two weeks and I might occasionally complain bout the packed schedule, I totally do not mind the hassle cos its worth every single darn moment of it.
Three, I wanna start AY06/07 Sem 2! Okay, this is really stupid but I love school. Learning is really a joy (minus the readings, though they may be interesting at times, sometimes) and I love to laugh at silly nerdos makin a complete fool outta themselves in class.
Last, the loophole which allowed students to check their grades practically caused a virtual stampede frenzy which spreaded like wildfire in the few hours that link was opened 2 nights ago. It has been since closed, but I'm glad I had the best semester to date. CAP's up to a good range and it's all too pleasing. And I really hope those results were accurate.
Hokays, my no brainer entry has thus ended.

So AY06/07 Sem 1 officially ended for me today. Finally headed back to City Hall where I had a good chat with the girls from V Tea Room, and how much I missed them! But it was good fun seeing all of them again.Okay, as usual, I try to bring the whole wardrobe along with me on my holiday, but it has never worked out that way.I'll see y'all in 2 weeks. I can't wait for Kris World.

It's December already?Gosh, last December still seem like a moment in time I just woke up from, where modules were chicken-ass-easy hence easy peasy exam preparation, and Tasmania awaits the nature-loving traveller. To think a year has gone by seems almost ludicrous, and one start searching for the 11 other missing months to make sense of time. One last paper to go before I claim my heart that has gone missing in Frisco two weeks back. Weather's fine there, a nice cool 15 degrees or so, which is absolutely optimal for the prime functioning of me. But Lake Tahoe, when I last checked, was freezing, averaging an icy 0 degrees and below, which really could make popsicles outta my pee.Which brings to mind. I remembered how amazed I was when I was peeing in London one cold gloomy morning, when steam actually arose from the toilet bowl cos the pee was actually warm enough. I was like, way cool. Yeah, it's disgusting I know, but coming from tropicana Singapura, it was a sight never seen before.
