interface II

So we're into the sixth version of my blog after the last version hung around for a year or so.

Now, a bit of info on this image. This photo was taken one lovely spring afternoon, featuring the iconic Old Well from the UNC Chapel Hill campus. I would like to think of this image as a tribute to my time in UNC Chapel Hill, the awesome friends I made and the memories I now hold dear.

A milestone in my life indeed.

I've dropped the tagboard cos its useless and taking eons to load. But thanks to Angela who helped me set it up, I still do like and will miss the pink interface.

So yeah, it's the sixth one you fellas!

Yours.

Bah. I miss my grandma.

And especially so cos its Christmas. Although this is probably the bestest Christmas to date, part of me cannot allow it to be so because she is not around to share the joy with me and my family. But then again, this is what she would have wanted anyway - for she takes pleasure in knowing that we are enjoying, even if she is not part of it. Which is why she is so selfless, so special.

I know I'm not alone in this, everyone in the family still misses her a lot. And a tear never fails to form in our eyes every Sunday when we gather around her grave at sunset (which is looking really quaint and all done up already).

Cherish everything you have. Appreciate the little things you take for granted. Enjoy nature. These are things my grandma has taught me and I thought it'll be good for you guys to know it too.

It’s not that unusual
When everything is beautiful
It’s just another ordinary miracle today

The sky knows when its time to snow
Don’t need to teach a seed to grow
It’s just another ordinary miracle today

Life is like a gift they say
Wrapped up for you everyday
Open up and find a way
To give some of your own

Isn’t it remarkable
Like every time a rain drop falls
It’s just another ordinary miracle today

Birds and winter have their fling
But always make it home by spring
It’s just another ordinary miracle today

When you wake up everyday
Please don’t throw your dreams away
Hold them close to your heart
Cause we’re all a part of the ordinary miracle

It seems so exceptional
That things just work out after all
It’s just another ordinary miracle today

Sun comes up and shines so bright
And disappears again at night
It’s just another ordinary miracle today

It’s just another ordinary miracle today
