interface II

So we're into the sixth version of my blog after the last version hung around for a year or so.

Now, a bit of info on this image. This photo was taken one lovely spring afternoon, featuring the iconic Old Well from the UNC Chapel Hill campus. I would like to think of this image as a tribute to my time in UNC Chapel Hill, the awesome friends I made and the memories I now hold dear.

A milestone in my life indeed.

I've dropped the tagboard cos its useless and taking eons to load. But thanks to Angela who helped me set it up, I still do like and will miss the pink interface.

So yeah, it's the sixth one you fellas!

Just as you begin to think that the last post looked morbidly nerdish, the last weekend presented itself to me as a busy (but in a good way) weekend of celebrations (no, it wasn't hari raya). But it was lunch at The Line which stole the limelight.

When mooncake aka sj was raving about The Line, I didn't quite give much thought to it until I went there myself. Thanks to dining as a big group, we were seated at what seems to me as the best place in the restaurant, the extension where the sun peeks into the glass-roofed pool side area. Excellent ambience, which is really what I notice and appreciate each time I'm at a eatery.

The food was, needless to say, nothing short of the best.

In other news, I'm back at the library (again) trying to complete the first draft of my essay. Back to being morbidly nerdish, I really like the Central Lib. I really wish you could see what I am seeing now, the early evening sun slicing through the window blinds, leaving columns of light on my work table, and in the horizon, the busy straits beyond the Pasir Panjang port.
