So we're into the sixth version of my blog after the last version hung around for a year or so.
Now, a bit of info on this image. This photo was taken one lovely spring afternoon, featuring the iconic Old Well from the UNC Chapel Hill campus. I would like to think of this image as a tribute to my time in UNC Chapel Hill, the awesome friends I made and the memories I now hold dear.
A milestone in my life indeed.
I've dropped the tagboard cos its useless and taking eons to load. But thanks to Angela who helped me set it up, I still do like and will miss the pink interface.
So yeah, it's the sixth one you fellas!
Yours.

On the finer things in life.
One, I'm really very satisfied with this week's floral piece at home, credit has to go to my florist though, it was totally her idea. Inexpensive and totally exuding the countryside feel.
Two, last weekend was legendary. Dinner at Halia Restaurant with Jess, Weng and a surprise birthday treat for Junhan. Photos pending Mr Wu's efficiency. Shaw+Smith Sauvignon Blanc was a delightful play on the palate, Jess and I agreed that it was one of the best wines we've had, which goes down really well with our fish for maincourse.
Three, the closing performance of the Esplanade's Da:ns Fest, where the ritual of the mystical whirling dervishes of Turkey was presented at the Theatre.
Else, my flight up to Tokyo and subsequently LA has finally been confirmed. Travelling alone is at the same time thrilling, scary but peaceful within. My flight to New York and North Carolina has to be settled still, but I am sure that would work out in no time.
Essays are clearing one by one, and my days are returning back to what it used to be. Time flies, really. A semester is almost over and I'll be embarking on a journey of a lifetime in less than two months. There seem to be so many things I'll have to leave behind in Singapore, yet there stands so many unopened doors in the States waiting for me. That's what happens when you are so attached to the things and people back home, and you just have to grit your teeth and simply leave, knowing well that faith will see you through no matter what.
