interface II

So we're into the sixth version of my blog after the last version hung around for a year or so.

Now, a bit of info on this image. This photo was taken one lovely spring afternoon, featuring the iconic Old Well from the UNC Chapel Hill campus. I would like to think of this image as a tribute to my time in UNC Chapel Hill, the awesome friends I made and the memories I now hold dear.

A milestone in my life indeed.

I've dropped the tagboard cos its useless and taking eons to load. But thanks to Angela who helped me set it up, I still do like and will miss the pink interface.

So yeah, it's the sixth one you fellas!

Yours.

This is not the first time I'm saying this, but I'm just stating for the record.

I really wish I had time for things like watching tv.

I remember how I'd look forward to nights with Channel 5, back in the secondary 3/4 days. Each day had its fair share of shows I love - Charmed, Ally, Gilmore, Popstars, Popular, Amazing Race, Survivor blah blah. Or even just watching channel news asia, even though news get repeated ever so often. Back then, I could remember the joy of just sitting in front of the tv set, comfortably slouched on the sofa (or bed) and allowing the nights to be taken away by these ever so captivating, funny, witty shows.

Fastforward to today. Well, gilmore girls are still showing (on sundays now, the last I heard), and the only tv shows I watch are the late night repeats and often falling asleep on them. Survivors became a season too many and David E Kelly stopped producing Ally. I really liked Ally.

No words can really capture the happiness and contentment in watching those shows, especially when they bring you to another world of imagination, and for that one hour, nothing else really matters.

I am not complaining really. What has essentially replaced tv time would be chilling with the bunch at some coffee joint or bar/pub/cafe, the very same bunch who watched the same shows as I did back in the rv days. Today, we sit out reminiscing about shows of an era gone by.

But it was all a lovely memory. Very lovely.
